CPRI / eCPRI Wireless Network Transceiver Module


      Adopts digital way to transmit baseband signal, its digital interface has two kinds, standard CPRI and OBSAI

interface. The CPRI (Common Public Radio Interface) defines the interface relationship between the REC (Radio

Equipment Control) and RE (Radio Equipment). Its data structure can be directly used for remote transmission

of repeater data, becoming a remote system of base station.


      CPRI supports a distributed architecture where base stations with REC are connected to a remote RF front

end (RRH or RE) via fiber optic links that carry CPRI data. This architecture reduces costs for service providers

because only remote RF front ends need to be installed in locations with poor environmental conditions. The

base station can be located in a good central area with good coverage, climate and power supply.
