OM4 Multi-mode MPO/MTP Trunk Cable



        X-Krama's MPO(Multi-FiberPushon) optical fiber cable is composed of connector and optical cable. It is

a kind of high-density optical fiber transmission jumper. MPO connector is one of the MT series connectors,

which is a kind of multi-core and multi-channel plug connector. The MT series inserts are connected with the

guide needle (also known as PIN needle) accurately by two guiding holes with a diameter of 0.7mm on the

end face of the inserts.

        The new generation of Ethernet 40G/100G standard will adopt OM3 and OM4 multi-mode fiber multi-

channel parallel transmission mode. Compared with single-mode WDM serial transmission mode, the overall

cost of this multi-mode parallel transmission mode on 40G/100G is only 1/3 and 1/10 of the single-mode

system respectively, which shows that the multi-mode cost advantage is very obvious.
