CATV EDFA Line Ampilifier  (EDFA-LA)
       

         EDFA (Erbium-doped Fiber Amplifier) is a special kind of optical fiber. The rare earth element (Er) is injected into

the core, so that under the action of the pump light source, it can directly amplify the optical signal of a certain

wavelength. Its birth is a revolutionary breakthrough in the field of optical fiber communication. It makes long-distance,

large-capacity, and high-speed optical fiber communication possible. It is an indispensable important device for

DWDM systems, future high-speed systems, and all-optical networks.

        X-krama's X-CELA-00 series is a line fiber amplifier (also known as repeater amplifier) with a gain spectrum

bandwidth of 1540~1563nm. It is mainly designed for CATV or 1~8 continuous strip channel (ITU wavelength)

applications. In order to reduce the degradation of EDFA to the CNR of the system, the input optical power is generally

selected as large as possible to make the EDFA work in a deeply saturated state, and the input optical power of a

typical application should be >+3dBm. The X-CELA-00 series line amplifier (low optical input type) adopts noise

filtering technology on the optical path to effectively filter out the spontaneous laser radiation. When the input optical

power is 0dBm, the system carrier-to-noise ratio can still reach 49.5dB, which is suitable for branch offices and lines.

        The X-CELA-00 series uses the world's top brand pump lasers and the American OFS erbium-doped fiber.

Perfect APC, ACC, ATC control and good ventilation and heat dissipation design ensure the long life and high

reliability of PUMP Laser. RS232 and RJ45 provide serial communication and SNMP network management interface.

The LCD on the front panel provides the working parameters and alarms of the whole machine. When the light is lost,

the laser is automatically turned off, providing laser safety protection. All optical ports can be installed on the front

panel or on the rear panel.
