10G DWDM SFP+ Transceiver Module
X-Krama's 10G DWDM ( Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing ) SFP+ is an optical transceiver module that
can combine a set of optical wavelengths of light into a single-core fiber for transmission. The channel spacing of the
10G DWDM SFP+ optical transceiver modules are small,such as 0.4 nm, 0.8 nm, 1.6 nm, etc., and requiring additional
wavelength control devices.
A key advantage of the 10G DWDM SFP+ transceiver module is that its protocol and transmission speed are
irrelevant. The DWDM-based network can transmit data using IP protocol, ATM, SONET/SDH, and Ethernet protocols,
and the processed data traffic is between 100Mb/s and 400Gb/s. In this way, a DWDM-based network can transmit
different types of data traffic at different speeds on a single laser channel. From a QoS (Quality Service) perspective,
DWDM-based networks respond quickly to customer bandwidth requirements and protocol changes in a cost-effective
manner.
Our 10G DWDM SFP+ transceiver modules are available for all 100 GHz or 50Ghz C-band wavelengths on the
DWDM ITU grid. They are designed to MSA standards to ensure a wide range of network device compatibility. These
DWDM SFP+ transceiver modules are hot swappable and digital diagnostics functional areas via the I2C serial bus
specified in the SFP MSA SFF-8472. These modules are compliant with the IEEE802.3 Gigabit Ethernet standard
and the ANSI Fibre Channel specification and are suitable for interconnection in Gigabit Ethernet and Fibre Channel
environments.
