X-DCM-52-F00 Series for G.652 SMF
ITU G.652 standard single-mode fiber has chromatic dispersion in C-Band, the typical value of chromatic
dispersion is 16.6ps/nm·Km. Dispersion limits the transmission distance and available bandwidth of 1550nm optical
fiber systems. There are many methods for fiber dispersion compensation. Practice has proved that the use of
dispersion compensation fiber modules (DCF、DCM) is the simple, most economical and most effective method. It
can not only effectively compensate the excess dispersion of standard single-mode fiber, but also 100% of the
dispersion slope of standard single-mode fiber.
X-Krama's dispersion compensation fiber module (DCF、DCM) is based on negative dispersion compensation
fiber technology, which can effectively compensate the dispersion characteristics and dispersion tilt characteristics of
the G.652 standard single-mode fiber in the transmission band of 1525~1565nm.
