The FBT optical splitter bundles two or more optical fibers together, and then melts and stretches them on
the taper, and monitors the changes in the splitting ratio in real time. When the splitting ratio meets the
requirements, the melting and stretching ends, and one end of the fiber is retained. (The rest is cut off) is used
as the input terminal, and the other end is used as a multi-channel output terminal. At present, the mature taper
drawing process can only draw less than 1×4 at a time. For devices larger than 1×4, use multiple 1×2
connections. It is packaged in a splitter box as a whole.
After more than 20 years of development, its technology is mature and cost-effective so far, and it is widely
used in optical networks. The taper splitter is an important passive optical device that can split the optical power
according to different proportions. It is widely used in FTTx systems, metropolitan area networks, wide area
networks, cable television networks, and active equipment.
The single-mode taper splitter we provide has high bandwidth, suitable for wavelengths in the range of
1260~1650nm, small size, and a variety of optional packaging styles, which greatly meets the needs of
customers in different occasions. At the same time, it can be tapped at one time. Into 1X2, 2X2, 1X3, 1X4 and
other products. All products meet Telcordia GR-1209-CORE and GR-1221-CORE requirements.
